Healing foodRECIPE OF THE MONTH - Mock Caesar SaladThis recipe substitutes the nutritional yeast for the egg and the soy sauce for the anchovies, keeping vegetarians happy and eliminating the potential for salmonella from raw eggs. 1 medium head romaine lettuce, torn into rough pieces
1 C croutons (optional) Clean lettuce and tear into pieces. Place oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, yeast, nuts, water, and garlic in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Toss with romaine and add croutons and black pepper just before serving. LAST MONTH'S RECIPE: Pretty Veggie Paté
