A sunny day in the summer brings people out of their homes, to wash their cars lovingly while they defile themselves with chemical-ridden hot dogs off the barbie. People spend hours cleaning their homes and then are too rushed for time to prepare a meal made with fresh, wholesome ingredients to nourish themselves - instead they opt for a trip to Burger King.
Two days prior to the diet, it is a good idea to eat only whole grains and beans, vegetable protein or fish, vegetables, and fruits. No dairy, meat, coffee, or sugar. I have done this fast/diet from one to three days. Pick a weekend when you can hide and try it. MORNING
Herb Tea Mixture
Liver Flush Drink MID-MORNING Fresh Vegetable Juice If you don't own a juicer, find a place that does. Go there and have any combination of carrots, celery, beets, parsley, spinach, and wheatgrass. LUNCH
Large Salad LATE AFTERNOON Fresh Vegetable Juice Same as mid-morning. DINNER
Large Salad THROUGHOUT THE DAY Herb Tea Mix and plenty of distilled or filtered water. OTHER SUGGESTIONS Go on a newsfast. Shut off the TV, forget the paper, and just concentrate on the things you really can change in your life. Dry brush your skin with a natural-bristle body brush before your shower or bath. Take lots of walks outside and breathe deeply. |
